The Jim Henson Foundation International Festival of Puppet Theater presents: Colores (1998)
Colores is the first of ten performances of the 1998 International Festival of Puppet Theater produced by the Jim Henson Foundation. It has music by German Arrieta and Gonzalo Sagarminaga is a mix of sounds from Indian, Spanish, African, and Arab sources. The production employs some novel pupeptry techniques, in particular Bolivar's horse, which is manipulated by Restrepo's legs while his body does the acting; there is also a 21-foot tree pulled by a pulley and a giant head descending from the ceiling which is operated by remote control.
