YokastaS (2003)
Production
Written by Schechner and Romanian playwright Saviana Stanescu and directed by Schechner, this version of the myth rendered Yokasta as a pre-teen, a young woman, a happily married woman, and an older woman who recollected all aspects of her life. It was developed and performed by Stanescu, Schechner, and East Coast Artists in a series of workshops, many of which open to the public.
