Biographical Information "Asif Currimbhoy, author, is an English-language playwright from India. Once banned for writing a play about the beat generation in his home town of Bombay, the author has had to come halfway around the world to see his plays produced. This was made possible by a grant from the J.D.R. 3rd Fund. In the last four months, he has received productions of two of his plays, "Goa" and "Monsoon", at Michigan State University and the Dallas Theatre. One more, "the Hungry Ones", is presently in rehearsal at the Boston Theatre Company. He works for Shell Oil Co, in India."
