This collection is comprised of photographs taken by Bill Duffy (also known as William Griffin Duffy and William Duff-Griffin) from the 1970s onward. Part of his personal collection, they contain many candid photos of notable La MaMa figures, both in and around La MaMa's buildings, as well as document local history and Duffy's experience of the time. Individuals and locations have been identified when possible. Photos with nudity, those in poor physical condition, and photos of a personal nature may be withheld from public view at the Archive's discretion.
