This program depicts the "TWITAS Inter-Ethnic Bilingual Children's Theater Workshop," a single day event held on Sunday, March 28, 1976 as part of the "World Theatre Day Celebration," hosted throughout that weekend at La MaMa Experimental Theatre Club. This workshop was held in the Basement Theatre, and presented by the Third World Institute of Theatre Art Studies (TWITAS) in conjunction with US Center of the International Theatre Institute (ITI) and Communication Center of the Population Institute. It featured two productions, "Mi Casa" directed by Luisa Reyes, and "The Legend of the Mango Tree" directed by Lily Mendoza.
