The 2008 La MaMa Moves! Dance Festival features 11 shows by over 50 dance companies and soloists and is curated by Mia Yoo and Nicky Paraiso. The event takes place across all three of La MaMa's venues: The Annex, the First Floor Theatre, and The Club. La MaMa's annual dance festival celebrates the breadth of the downtown dance world in all its wit, originality, beauty. and off the wall glory.
