"Berenice" is a play that was adapted by The Creation Company and directed by Matthew Maguire. It was based on an Edgar Allan Poe short story of the same name that was published in 1835. by Edgar Allan Poe and was based on his short story of the say name that was published in 1964. It was presented by Creation Company and produced at La MaMa in 1986. The show follows a man "who is so obsessed with his wife's teeth that he digs up her grave to extract them."
