Bridge*/S-C-A-N (Dance Motor)

Work

"Part 1... mixes, juxtaposes and recombines the transforming parts, pieces and elements of past dances into the ongoing process of fielding and assembling that in turn becomes S-C-A-N, which was also generated in part with video and our camera collaborator Tim Purtell.  S-C-A-N is 'about' the many ways we see and 'read' orders and realms of organization, as well as the 'motorizing' of configurations, kinetic lines, changing patterns, even space circuits, mimetic switches and--information--out and around, through and via frames and contexts.  The spine too is a bridge, a rainbow bridge; so is d-a-n-c-i-n-g!  (Clue: look through the dancing, not just 'at' it!)"
