Macbeth (1977)

"Billed as interracial," this "production is highly ritualistic and symbolic: the stylized motion of the soldiers...the rhythmic beat of primitive musical instruments...the witches ceremonial bowl containing a deep red, frothing brew that serves as both blood and wine...The victims in the three death scenes are nude. The first occurrence is mildly shocking, but the cumulative effect is brilliant."
