"This program introduced three plays by young playwrights whose work had been performed at Ellen Stewart's La Mama Experimental Theater Club in New York. The plays are "Pavane" by Jean-Claude van Itallie with Cynthia Harris, James Coco, Joseph Chaiken, Ruth White, and Paul Dooley; "Fourteen Hundred Thousand" by Sam Shepard with Kevin O'Connor and Joseph Chaiken; and "The Recluse" by Paul Foster with Ruth White and Bryarly Lee."
